Default V-glide resistance test

Measured my V-glide resistance
I've read it should be 5k to 0 ohms

Pulled the yellow & green wire off the controller

Volt meter reads .3 ohms leads touching
Leads plugged into connectors

In Fwd: V-glide , pedal up reads 5.64 k ohms
goes to 1.1k ohms pedal floored

May be a little more speed in the cart if I can get 0 ohms ?

In Reverse : pedal up it reads 10.7 k ohms to 5.0 ohms floored

How to get closer to 0 ohms in Fwd ?

If I get near 0,
Should I get a little more speed?

Gonna pull & clean the V-glide.
See if I can get it a little closer to the 5k - 0 ohm called for

If nothing else , will learn more & be able to better visualize how it works

Thinking the travel may need adjusted.
1.1k & should be 0
May gain 20%

Make sure you know where the wires are connected when you that them off.

The wiper must be ONLY contacting the top/last pad to get full speed. You may need to adjust the throttle linkage.

Here are resister values for a 48v 5k-0 ohm cart (2 wire and 3 wire)--

Crash, you listed values for a 36v 0-5k ohm. You're showing the first signs of hypothermia. Get to the nearest warming shelter buddy.
