Alltrax install help
Got a 2003 ds and just got a 48500 Sr controller and new solenoid. Cart ran great before and right before I did the install. Well after I put the controller in, I get 2 blinks and then solid on foward. But cart barely moves and doesn't move until pedal is almost all the way pressed to the floor. In reverse I get 2green 6 red and no movement in reverse. The solenoid clicks instantly when pedal ha pressed foward or reverse. If any one can help or give me direction what to check.

Re: Alltrax install help
The two blinks indicate that it's set for 5k-0 throttle.... It needs to be setup for Club Car 5k-0 3 wire throttle, which would be indicated with 7 blinks. You need to download the Alltrax toolkit software and change the throttle settings in the controller. Also, you're going to need to upgrade your cables. Your 6 gauge cables aren't going to make it and neither is that factory motor. That SR500 is going to cook that factory stuff.

Re: Alltrax install help
I have done 2 gauge wire upgrade around the batteries but I didn't think about doing the ones from controller to the motor. I'll get that done. I'll download the software and change the setting. I got it from Scotty so I thought it would of been preprogrammed.

Re: Alltrax install help
That speaker/amp wire you are using , Is not made for golf carts. You should be using 4 or 2 ga. Welding cable

Re: Alltrax install help
All 6 gauge cables need to be changed to 2 gauge.

Re: Alltrax install help
Sounds like it is my bad - The alltrax toolkit is here > http://www.alltraxinc.com/Products_SR.html
Find the toolkit manual there too. Once you download the program and plug the controller in the throttle tab will bring up a drop down menu of throttles to select. Tahoe is correct it should be 5k-0 (3 wire) |

Re: Alltrax install help
It's definitely a little snappy on the throttle now, but to really notice the big difference a motor upgrade with a controller is the trick?
