I've been there and done that.... twice. And lived to tell the tale. It's not something I want to suggest anybody try. If you need excitement I have plenty of suggestions that won't endanger others.

What's the part number of this new cable?

Don't know. I'll call Club Car tomorrow and find out. I haven't sold any of them yet.

I ordered a passenger side cable for the drivers side since the driver side didn't fit. It ended up being to long and literally hung to the floor. I called Ausco and asked them about the brake extender and they had no clue what I was talking about. In the end they recommended I rotate the rotor mount. They said doing so it will only attach with 3 bolts rather than 4 but it wont be an issue.

Anyways the fit is much better so I figured I would share.

After rotating the brake calipers and like you have pictured above, were you able to use the original driver's side brake cable?

I'm considering upgrading to Ausco brakes but I currently have a 6" lift and performed the "brake cable flip" mod that is a sticky on this site. I like the way it keeps the cables tucked up near the leaf springs. I was curious if you could "flip" the Ausco kit? basically swap the drivers and passenger side parts. It looks like the arm that pulls the pads together may hit my lift block/leaf springs though if I were to flip the Ausco kit.
