Re: cc frame difference?
LOL. (Ain't this fun?). Look at the guitar in the case. It is a Fender Strat. Look at the acoustic in the other photo (forget about the p.o.s. Squire on the wall) To me (a car guy) the front of that thing looks about as much like a 57 Chevy as that Yamaha acoustic looks like a Strat.

Re: cc frame difference?
Mooncarter,
It did take the ford chevy question to make me look at it more closely. The only reason I knew what it was, is there was one for sale on one of these forums, or eBay, or Craigslist not long ago. It may be the one that jethaulin has here, but the picture I saw didn't include the Thunderbird emblem. Aflyer |

Re: cc frame difference?
Either way Aflyer, what is important here is the OP guy gets the info he needs.
I have seen those, or similar bodies advertised as 57 Fords mostly. Either way a generic offering of something from that era. Cool any way you look at it! |

Re: cc frame difference?
i think its a Studebaker. don't have a trunk but thinking rear seats so doesn't matter. all the frames I have had broken welds, so I'm going to learn to weld aluminum. as for the motor question I though about it over a beer and played with the wires on 36v cart and it moved, so I think i'll charge it and sell it whole. its ugly but should get a couple bills to help move this project along.20170321_182620.jpg

Re: cc frame difference?
That seems to have a very serious trailer hitch on it.
I would check into the driveline to see what motor and controller it has in it. Was it being used as a yard mole on a campsite?? LOL, Aflyer |

Re: cc frame difference?
now THAT would be cool. Can't remember seeing many pics of Stude bodied carts lately. Think there was a later bodied one [bullet nose] but not this.
