Re: Help intermittent go no go
Put cart on charger. Let it charge until charger turns off. 49 volts is pretty low. Also clean those battery connection and make sure they are snug.

Re: Help intermittent go no go
I'm having the same issue on a 2002 48V DS IQ system cart. Cart is dead in the water at times with a solenoid click then after switching it to tow and pushing it a ways it seems to run for a little bit then shuts down again. Does this sound speed sensor related? Just trying to see which direction I should go; any help would be appreciated.

Re: Help intermittent go no go
Try pressing go pedal about 20 time with key off. If that helps bad mcor. If not try flipping tow run switch a few times to see if that helps.

Re: Help intermittent go no go
Update, first would like to thank all for input, went and replaced speed sensor no change..did speed sensor test with old and new it will beep when cart is pushed, did a on board computer reset, but cart will not beep to let me know reset was good.. Batteries at 50.7 volts connections good.
Press go pedal to floor gart takes off strong than surges than stops, depress pedal again Sam but in a shorter time frame, cart is on jackstands, if depress pedal half way it will go all day, well I stopped it after 10 min. The original Mcor and new Mcor do same thing, so far new controller new Mcor new on board computer new speed sensor any thoughts? Thanks in advance! Ps .took controller off had it tested again all good. 2007 club car precident. |

Re: Help intermittent go no go
I actually had this same problem on a Precedent about a year ago and never did actually resolve the problem even after about 20 hours in the cart! ... After some long conversations with a tech that worked at Club Car (after the cart had left my shop) he kept telling me that my problem more than likely resided in the main wiring harness. I cant confirm that he was right or wrong but after replacing everything BUT that it's a good possibility that he was right. I hope you figure it out and if you do please let us know what it was.

Re: Help intermittent go no go
Both of your issues sound like a motor problem to me. Especially with the jerky start. Can you pull the motor off and take it apart and inspect the brushes? You'll probably find your problem (or smell it)

Re: Help intermittent go no go
Jerky start? It goes like crazy then surges than stops. Will a bad motor run half 3/4 speed but not full speed?
Thanks for quick comments |
