'94 Club Car Ds Budget Build
I had been looking around trying to find a fairly decent golf cart until my buddies wife said his had to get out of their garage, so I picked it up from him for $200. It wasn't, nor is it, the prettiest cart around. It needed wiring redone so I got that out of the way first. Once I got the wiring taken care of I found the batteries worked just fine. I said I didn't want to put any money into it as I had only purchased it for $200, but we all know how that goes. I've done a few minor inexpensive things to it so far. I painted the body (it's not perfect but will do for now), recovered the front seats ($39 from ebay), new rear seat, and light bar up front. When I ordered the rear seat the company stated they would be sending the appropriate roof supports for the rear of the cart, although that was false. I simply took the old seat and cut it up to make rear roof supports which is working out perfectly fine! I am going to take the roof supports off and paint them black eventually, and possibly the roof as well. The plan so far is to eventually install a lift, wheels, and tires. Here are some pictures...

fire84rescue,
Very nice job, your car is looking good. Looks like flat black, may be a better choice for your roof supports!! Now I better get off the computer and get back to work on mine. Aflyer |

Nice job so far and pretty pit you have there. You need to add that to the dogs on carts thread.
