Looking to replace motor on 1998 clubcar DS 48v powerdrive (NOT the plus)
I saw on here someone mentioned that if I replace the 48volt motor in my 1998 DS with a 36V motor it will increase the speed of my cart. I was able to track down a 36V motor but it's off an EZ-GO. Im relatively mechanically inclined but I know nothing about golf carts. Have any of you put an EZ-GO Motor on a club car? I was wondering if you could tell me some of your stories of what modifications you had to do to make it work or if it was a simple swap. Thanks in advance and sorry if this seems like a stupid question.
