Make sure your cart S/N starts with PQ if you want the speed magnet.

Yes it is a PQ serial number. Looks like the magnet is going to be my best short solution to pick up some extra speed until I'm ready to buy the plum quick motor but I just stumbled across something called a speedylink. Saw the video on YouTube. I looks impressive but it installs in line with the speed sensor. Is this essentially just doing the same thing as the magnet does?

Yes, the same results as the speed magnet, except it costs more.

Unicorn,
Good to know thank you for the update.
But as Sergio points out, I think there is a liability thing that may require it. Plus they should give you something for their $100.00 charge.

Yeah. I would like to have some stickers. I will ask them again and contact Club Car directly if I need to.

I am really surprised they no longer have any decals for private speed code.

The one Aflyer posted with the A,B,C codes also includes the Cart Serial number, which while is not used for the algorithm calculation, it does limit the liability to the cart in which the controller was installed.

The second decal is a generic warning to any driver that the cart can exceed the safety speed for a regular golf cart. It may offer additional liability to the owner of the cart

I'm going to give the magnet a try. I found it on Amazon for $17.50 but it gets mixed reviews. Some say they picked up speed while others say it does nothing. Some even say it slowed their cart down. Are there different magnets for different year make and model carts? Does it matter which way you put the magnet on? Not sure what system my cart has but it's a 2010 precedent. 1st 2 letters of the serial number are PQ.

Get the speed magnet from Revolution Golf Cars, they work.

You need to figure out if You have the ADC (top hat shaped sensor) or the GE (flat style sensor) motor as the magnets are different.

When I thought my high speed magnet didn't work, I learned that there was something else wrong with my cart. It wasn't the magnet, it was the cart.

The response I received from Club Car directly was that decals are only required if they are for a "golf" application. If the cart is not being used for golf then they are not required. Authorized Club Car dealers are asked this question when ordering the codes. They stated they will happily provide decals for me since I inquired about it.
