Re: 05 club car precedent slow going up hill with new everything
The pack voltages seem to be fine for WOT. If you check and verify the output of the MCOR at full throttle and it is reaching 100%, then the issue is in that controller. The controller should at full pedal be sending full voltage to the motor.
If Sergio or someone else sees this, they may have a contributing reason, but unless the MCOR is not seeing 100%, there is nothing else I know of other than the controller. |

I agree, the next step is to verify the MCOR is sending 100% throttle.
Measure the voltage on controller pin #2 (yellow wire) as You press the pedal. You need to get over 4.65v at full pedal for the controller to sense 100% throttle. Also check the F1 and F2 Controller connectors and wires back to the motor to make sure all connections are good and tight. |

Re: 05 club car precedent slow going up hill with new everything
I am getting right at 4.59-4.6V at full throttle. I checked the wires for F1 and F2 all look good and have continuity from motor to controller.

Re: 05 club car precedent slow going up hill with new everything
I went through the check list if you will from FSIP and checked each pin from the controller. Everything checked out as it should. The only thing that did not check out is the check motor windings section, that states with motor disconnected, measure F1 to motor case. this must be greater than 5Mohms. I got 0. not sure what that implies? I place my probe on the F1 terminal and the other end on the motor case and got nothing.

Re: 05 club car precedent slow going up hill with new everything
This is how I check it:
Place the Run/Tow switch in "Tow", then disconnect the pack and then all the cables from the motor. (Be sure to double wrench every motor post/stud when breaking them lose or you may break them off. Spray them down with penetrating oil prior to doing it). Get out your DVM and set it to the Continuity setting and: - Test between A1 and A2 (Beep) - Test between F1 and F2 (Beep) - Test between A1 and F1 (No Beep) - Test between A1 to Motor Case (No Beep) - Test between F1 to Motor Case (No Beep) Now flip your meter to Ohms/Resistance and: - Test between F1 and F2 and you should get ~0.8 to ~1.2 Ohms |
