Default 2014 club car forward reverse switch

Purchased a used golf cart about 3 weeks ago. Came with a 6 month warranty but the person we bought it from is having troubles troubleshooting. You sometimes have to click it multiple times in to forward or reverse to get it to engage. They replaced the forward reverse switch on the cart and the controller which is an alltrax 300. Still doing the same thing. Any suggestions?

Everything You need to troubleshoot is free from Alltrax, I am surprised the Dealer has not done that yet.

Just install the Alltrax software, connect to the Controller using an USB cable and put it on the monitor screen.

It sounds like the MCOR micro-switch is failing, the monitor shows that as "Footswitch input".

You can use the monitor screen to easily check if the footswitch, forward and reverse selector is being recognized by the Controller.

Also, If the "Relay Status" shows ON and the Solenoid is not closing (Click sound), replace the Solenoid.

I’m having similar issues with my 2013. Only in addition to having to switch it multiple times now it is shutting down while I’m driving. I’m going to replace the mcor and hope it solves the problem.

Solution- They checked the replacement switch for forward/reverse and it was bad. New one put in and it is working great.
