Default Need swapping advice - '95 Medalist/TXT to '14 TXT

It's come that time - I got a new cart today.

Hoping I went the right route however, I am hoping to take off as many upgrades from my Medalist and transfer them over to the new TXT.

Wondering if these components are swapable to the new cart.

SR48400

D&D High Speed Motor

New cart serial number - 3036618

TXT Fleet B1414

The controller for the Medalist is for a series cart. The new cart is most likely sepex. The same goes for the motor. That'll be a no go. Others will chime in...

This is correct. You would be swapping the whole wire harness with the controller and motor. Making the electrical system back into 95.

Thanks guys - so the TXT48 is a sepex - which involves an entire new upgrade of controller and motor.

Too bad - but it is what it is - someone's gonna get a great deal on a fully upgraded Medalist.

Thanks Gearhead - it's killing me to move on - I love that cart, but the Medalist has done me well for a loooong time.

Alltrax XCT may be all you need (the 500amp one)

I predict you will like the new cart and its sepex system better.

Dela, Where did you get the seats for the Medalist? Great looking cart by the way.

I'm saying its possible. Depends on what you want. The new cart should do just under 20 MPH with unlocked controller as it sits. The Alltrax will remove restrictions and allow the motor to access more amps (torque). People here are getting low to mid 20's with just the Alltrax and the correct field mapping on stock tires. The sepex systems are starting off with more power than the old series carts but the OEMs restrict them.
You know where to go to get the controller and he has lots of info on the set up.
