2005 Carryall 2 No Go
I have a 2005 Carryall 2 that just stopped. It has an Alltrax Axe controller and a new HD solenoid. If I unplug the triangular plug to the pedal then plug it back in, the cart jumps like it wants to go, then stops. If I jump it from the neg on batt. pack to the small yellow wire on the solenoid it runs, so I replaced the OBC...Still no go...

Is that a Sepex cart or a Series?

And try this, too:
MCOR Test: Unplug the two pin connector from the MCOR and jump out the connector with a paper clip or a small piece of wire. It will be a blue wire and green wire connector. If it runs with the jumper in place, your MCOR has failed. |

Re: 2005 Carryall 2 No Go
Then your Neg should be coming from the OBC as you tested, so all I can think of is damage on the wire in the harness or a faulty OBC (that does happen) as when you make up the negative, it goes.
Maybe trace the wire all the way back and look for a fray, pinch, etc. You can also remove the wire from the solenoid and then check it for continuity between there and the OBC. If Sergio sees this, he may have another idea. |

Is there a way to test the OBC? I've checked all the wires, no cuts, frayes, breaks, pinches - nothing. Checked the continuity, even the red, green and black wires going into the charger, all good

Re: 2005 Carryall 2 No Go
If the charger is working, controller locked out while plugged in, and Neg to the solenoid, then that is about all I usually notice.
Call Dave Hicks (TahoeDawgZ71) - Revolution Golf Cars (He's a site sponsor) 706-836-7210 and see what he can offer. I do not know anything else unless its a bad OBC. If it were a Sepex, we would have a controller problem... |
