Thank you for all your help. Do I purchase a replacement from club car or do I purchase one of the controllers that everyone discusses on the forum? I don't plan on any upgrades at this point just a cart for use in a small sub division.

The Alltrax XCT48300 is a great piece, will give you more power and speed and many parameters are easily adjustable to suit your personal preferences. However, perfectly functional stock controllers have been listed in the for sale threads on here for under $200. A new factory controller is probably more expensive than the Alltrax. So it comes down to what you are willing to spend and does used matter or do u want a new part with a warranty? With that said, is the stock controller possibly still under a factory warranty?
However, I’m a bit shocked the controller crapped out on such a new cart. I wonder if something fried it or it was just a bad one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks...called Club Car Warranty Department and since I purchased it from an individual the warranty only extends to the first purchaser after dealer. A bit unusual but I guess that is their business model.

UPDATE - installed the Alltrax and off I went. Thanks all for your help and diagnosis experience. Look forward to future projects
