Default Any info on a 2001 ds?

I plan on buy 2001 Club Car DS 48v with Heavy Duty Shocks, Heavy Duty Leaf Springs, New Leather, New Batteries, and LED head lights and tail lights but it has a bad obc that has been bypassed just wondering if there is anything specific I need to know about or look for on this model? I bought a 87 ezgo resistor cart last week and sold it yesterday i r

Does it come with a after market charger like a DPI now that the obc has been by-passed or is it still using the stock charger with no lockout/shutoff control ...

It has the stock charger that the owner has fixed so it’s full charge when it’s plugged in .. said he just set a timer and would manually unplug the charger when the batteries where charged

thats no good !!!!! need a new dpi / smart charger or obc . You will never correctly charge the batteries that way .

If thats how he was charging the batteries I doubt they are new now.
