Just wanted to post an update to this thread int he hopes it would someone else - David at Revolution Cars replaced the MCOR and now it's running fine. If I recall, the MCOR was giving a partial throttle signal even when the pedal was all the way up. This was preventing it from taking off once it was put into gear.

It was giving 65% throttle with the pedal released AND the internal micro switch was broken. After removal I shook it and there's all kinds of stuff in there rattling around. Something catastrophic took place somehow. Replaced it with the MCOR4 conversion kit and she's good to go.
