Another thing 10 inch is NOT A TIRE SIZE. It is a rim size. when asking about the effects of a tire size change PLEASE reference the tire height or diameter. Stock tires are 18 inches. 10 inch rims may have 18-22 inch tires on them
The difference between 18 and 22 inch tires is a 22.5% reduction in torque.
So you have to ask yourself how much am I going to gain with a bigger controller and how much am I going to loos with the bigger tires? There is a trade off here -
So if i stay with a 20’’ tire can you recommend a decent mud tire

That is a SepEx cart, and probably an Excel (as opposed to IQ) so a controller is the biggest bang for your buck to start out with. And since it is a SepEx and not a Series, you do not have to get a new FNR switch as the high amp switching is done in the controller, so your Rocker switch will still work fine.

If you go with an Alltrax XCT-48300IQ it will be plug and play and you already have the solenoid so just upgrade your cables and enjoy. If you plan on going bigger in the future, go with an XCT-48500IQ and have it mapped for your stock motor and you will be good and then if down the road you want to put a bigger motor, you will only need to download the field map from Alltrax and you are full throttle!

Hilac- You sound like you want to upgrade your cart to what you need, but you ~may be hurrying along. Take your time, read, research and ask questions here. If you check our site sponsors like Revolution Golf Cars or Carts Unlimited, you will find most everything you need. And yes, they do supply a professional grade cable set, but as Luke stated, if you have to tools and the abilities, you can do these yourself. The other things you are wanting, will have to be purchased.

The good thing about our site sponsors is you get their technical support. David Hicks (TahoeDawgZ71) will is a phone call away for helping you meet your needs and scottyb has his email address available to help you. Then you have us little fish that are swimming around this big ole pond!
