Re: Best 6" A-arm lift kit for the DS's
It says the "best"......
As far as the best goes, it has to be a Jake's long travel, hands down!!!! The All Sport SS, is a great lift kit for the price, but it is clearly not the best!!! If you want the best, screw the rest and go with the Jake's long travel!!!! Nothing beats the ride of a long travel Lift.... Especially for a Club Car!!! I have had the ,all sports, madjax, gtw, my Jake's long travel blows all of them away!! |

I bought my All Sports 4" SS lift from Cart Parts Plus to avoid a confrontation. (I ask too many questions!) As for the Super Sport lift, the only thing that I've seen break on them is the "High Misalignment Spacer", It's made of aluminum, and will wear out, or break under heavy off-roading... (Let it be known that the ones that broke? the people were extremely rough on their carts) IMG_3166.JPG ......... Good .. Bad 002.JPG I've been putting off finding, or... having some stainless steel spacers made for my cart, but I haven't been using it much, so I just keep putting it off! .02 |

I've had several experiences with them and all have been great. I'd definitely buy from them again. I bought directly from them. But as mentioned earlier, I know exactly what I want and they don't have to answer lots of questions from me, so I can't speak for their ability to really get into the weeds with you during a sales call.

Re: Best 6" A-arm lift kit for the DS's
does anyone know if the pre 2003.5 all sport's ss lift has the shock mount in the back that accepts the newer style shocks? no eyelet on bottom of shock

Re: Best 6" A-arm lift kit for the DS's
The Allsports SS kit I bought for my '87 gas DS just came with shock extender studs. I do have eyelets at the bottom of my rear shocks (studs up top).

Re: Best 6" A-arm lift kit for the DS's
The 4" SS kit I just installed on my 96 DS was the same, stud extensions for the shocks. I'm not a fan of it, so I've already started looking into longer shocks to replace them.
