Default 48v Solenoid

Hi guys, I have a 2006 Clubcar IQ I've been trying to get to run correctly. I replaced the speed sensor and also checked the mcor to see if the fork had any play in it because I've been stuck in limp mode. I ordered a new Solenoid and wired it based on how the diagrams on this site tells me to but when I wire it the "correct" way my cart won't run. Prior to the new Solenoid, the old solenoid had both yellow and red wire going to one post of the solenoid. If i wire it like that then the cart runs but only at half speed. I have not attempted to wire the new Solenoid that way it used to be because I do t know if that will risk damaging it
Any tips someone may have for me?

Your cart is running when the solenoid is bypassed. It's in limp-mode because it's more than likely picking up on a MAIN WELDED condition. When you connect the yellow and the red wires together on one post, the solenoid is irrelevant at this point and might as well not even be there. It's essentially like the posts are welded together. In factory configuration your cart won't run because there's something wrong elsewhere. More than likely it's an MCOR problem. The MCOR is the throttle switch under the passenger side floorboard of your cart. Wire your solenoid according to the factory diagram. Locate the MCOR under the car and un-plug the square 2-pin connector with the green wire and blue wire. Use a paperclip or a small piece of wire to jump the two wires together inside the connector that you unplugged from the MCOR. Make sure to leave the triangular shaped 3-pin connector plugged into the MCOR. Try to drive your cart with the jumper in place. If the cart operates with the jumper in place, order part number AM293101 MCOR4 conversion kit and install it on your cart. If you still can't figure this out, call me. 706-431-3917. Make sure you've got a multi meter in hand and we will find your problem. DSIQ cars are easy.

I went ahead and jumped the connector and got no response from the cart. I've attached a picture of the connector with the jump pin inserted

Check for power at Pin 4 (Green/White) with the key on, F&R switch in forward, and pedal depressed.

How do I Do that? I Unplug the connector and then what do I do? I'm assuming put voltmeter probe inside the connector and the other probe where?

I placed the positive probe of the vm inside pin 4 and the black one on a black pin and got 49v. To be honest though im not sure if that was the correct way

You have a bad controller. You're getting a signal into the controller to make the solenoid click, but you're not getting a signal out. The MAIN DRIVER of the controller has failed and you'll have to replace it to make it work properly.

So I attempted again and I actually get no power when depressed. I put the negative probe on bat neg and positive in pin 4
