update ezgo
ok on my last thread I had an ezgo 48 volt text that would not go. at first thought it was the solenoid, but it turned out to be the altrax controller. I have replaced the controller with a 500 amp star controller from FSIP. And upgraded the solenoid to 400amp. the pre-charged resistor that I placed on the solenoid is 470ohms 10 watt. is this the right resistor or should I be using a larger one? the current resistor warms up but does not get hot. thanks

Re: update ezgo
A Star controller may not have been the best choice for replacing an Alltrax. China quality vs US quality?
