Now for the marathon, how do I test this solenoid?
Was told solenoid is likely bad. He’s owned 3-4 of these buggers.

Put pack + to one small terminal and pack - to the other, then test for continuity across the big terminals. I’ve read that some solenoids are polarity specific on the small posts, so check that out first. Probably not the case with yours, but just in case.
