Have you checked voltage with lights and radio On?

I haven’t ever checked open circuit voltage on any of mine. I suppose it could be dropping voltage on the output side when there’s no connection to lower input consumption and save power.

Are you asking the input voltage to the converter? If so it's above 36v

What is the voltage of the pack? Take your meter, check the voltage and tell us what it is.

I have asked 2 simple questions in order to help you:

Is everything working OK?

What is the voltage of your pack?

If you refuse to answer I can't help you.

Moon i'm super sorry. I appreciate the help but please forgive my idiocy. I measured the pack voltage at 36.9 volts. Everything is working ok as well. I've been able to run the lights with no issues. I haven't however tried to run the lights and radio at the same time. The cart is just that new to me. Thanks and once again, my apologies.

No need to apologize it's just that we need to know certain things to help. I have used these converters and have never had one with low voltage. Either DOA or it worked.

I think the reducer is OK and your meter is not reading correctly.

Can you check it on a known good 12 volt battery?
