Re: No voltage at controller
You want to see what Error flags are present when you depress the pedal and also confirm the throttle is set correctly.

Re: No voltage at controller
OK, Might be seeing something, if I slowly push the throttle and hold it just when the solinoid clicks the throttle gauge goes to 100% and I get error flag, shutdown and low throttle input underrange. When I push the throttle further the error goes away.

Re: No voltage at controller
I hope that is correct. I would have thought a 3-wire 5k to 0 ohm..... (And if it is a 3-wire, this is your problem as the throttle is set incorrectly)
If you have truly do have a 2 wire 0-5k ohm rheostat type throttle, then the throttle works on resistance and not voltage like the 3-wire throttles. Turn the key Off and put the FNR in neutral. Remove the wires from spades #2 and #3 on the Controller and connect your Multi-meter set to 20k ohms into the 2 wires you just removed. Slowly press the pedal and notice the resistance, when you hear the micro-switch click it should be 0 ohms (not 0L) and then increase in steps as you depress the pedal until a you see a little over 5k ohms. |

Re: No voltage at controller
OK, I got it run. I had a bad F/R switch. I bypassed it and the motor runs. Now my only problem is the throttle is reversed I have high speed decreasing to low speed as the pedal is depressed. I guess I have to change the throttle on the controller.
What throttle should I use? |
