Default Just wanted to share pics of my projects

Hey All,

Just wanted to share pics of my project. I had a blast doing it. Took a 1982-5 (plate was removed) DS. Stripped it to the frame. Put a 6inch Jake's Double A-arm lift kit. 23" tires, a 500amp controller and upgrade kit with a new contactor. Thank you Scotty B! Found a guy named AL on Ebay where I purchased a 48V 50AH Lithium Battery and charger. I painted the whole thing with textured bed liner making it scratch proof-ish. Added the LED bar and an underglow LED kit. I even replaced the key with a push button start using an rf key fob. It went from being so slow my chickens could out run it, to spinning the tires and doing about 25 with the stock motor still kicking. I had a great time doing it. I didn't post a lot, but I searched the heck out of the forumn, and it helped a lot. Thanks ALL!

Looks great - nicely done.
But I still think a teenager is the most expensive way to take out the trash . . . .

PS- and on the youngest one you may want to place blocks on the pedals as it looks like a "stretch" for her to reach them....

Cool looking cart!

I'm curious as to what bed liner you went with? How does it seem to be holding up to scratches and such?

Could be, but you likely don't have to tell them twice to do it.

Nice rehab job on the cart.

Thanks All. And BBHC I used the Custom Coat bedliner from amazon. I was really worried about how well I would do, but it was super easy and turned out great. I ordered the 4 quart pack for 99 from Amazon and still have 2 quarts left after doing 2 coats. It even came with it's own spray gun. I highly recommend.
