Default G2 runs rough, spills gas from valve cover breather

My G2 will fire but only runs for a few second then shuts down. Then it starts miss firing and puking raw gas out of the breather hose coming off the top of the valve cover. I’m thinking diaphragm in the fuel pump itself is going bad. Before I order a new one has anyone had this issue and where’s the best place to get a new pump? CPP has a “high flow” pump listed but it looks slightly different than mine and they don’t list what years and models it’s for. Thanks.

What is the oil level Indicated on the dipstick? It must be wildly overfilled. If so, stop running it. Oil with that much fuel in it isn't a lubricant product anymore. I say start with the needle in the carb (in the original carb, run away from the cheap China junkers). It could be the fuel pump, but I see the needle in the carb cause this most often.
