Since You said you are new to electric golf carts, make sure You only add water to the batteries after a full charge.
The only time you should ever add water to a discharged battery is if the plates are exposed and then only add enough water to cover the plates by about 1/4". So have you already done a full charge after that meter was installed? |

Does any one know if the cut outs for these two meters are the same size? I have the bar one and want to replace it with a digital meter. Would like to find one the same size or slightly larger to use the same hole.

I think they are close, you can take the ditigal and make a plate for it and mount where the bar meter hole is. Takes a little work.

getting one too but unfortunately the bar gauge I have is round and I could not find a round 48V anywhere except straight from china. I got a square 36V and it's been flawless for many years now.
