relcead it's not nice to high jack a thread . If you have questions start your own thread. Toobitz asked one question and you take over his thread

Bob

Any chance you can email me the file that’s saved on your programmer? I went a little nuts and changed a bunch of stuff I probably wasn’t supposed to prior to reading your reply lol

If the cart is on even a small incline, it won’t move unless I hold my left foot on the brake and push the gas at the same time. I’d like to start over and load the settings you set and then adjust the deccel

I can send the file, but it would do you no good. You cannot just apply the file to a controller. The controllers base values that the VCL uses to gather controller information and process to give controller output cannot be written via a file. The values I enter are outside of the normal range allowed, so they are not applied. Those changes must be made live, while the controller is powered up logically with the outputs disabled. Controller memory is transferred to high memory, where it is edited, then transferred back into low memory. I use advanced functions within Development mode to do this. There is no manual available to explain this to point you to. You really have to know what you are doing, even just to get into an actual live session with the controller. Otherwise, the changes made are lost instead of transferred into working memory. The procedures also differ somewhat for the different controller models. As Jeff mentioned, I am on a programming trip through Florida right now.

Hey Bob. I hope this post finds you!

Steve Howard recommended I reach out to you and I also saw a few threads on this forum that imply you’re my guy!

I have a 2016, first owner floor model, 72 V ezgo with 9 - 8v acid, new in January, interstate brand batteries. I believe it is a 350 amp speed controller and i have a 7kw motor.

Serial number is 3161057 and part number for the SC is 637729, based on the serial number.

I top out at 16 mph. I would like to program this to go, probably 30 or so mph.

Can you help???? It is tough to find information on this.

I live in Miami, FL.

Riva motorsports wants to bypass the controller to allow full output of my batteries.

Any help is much appreciated!
