Club car DS brand new battery drain
I have a 04 CC DS with new batteries and new OBC. taking it for a spin, fully charged it begins to run slow. I test each battery and all are 8.5 except for the main battery which is about 5.5. This happened before and I warranty exchanged the battery out thinking it was a fluke thing. Now it’s happening again. I’m thinking it may be something else. HELP!

Re: Club car DS brand new battery drain
MAIN BATTERY?
There in lays your problem, what else is connected to this battery? Yes sir you may have a bad-new battery, I had to replace several 1 year old CR-205 this week. A Battery Pack is a Team, all should be charged & discharged at the same rate. Of coarse a Team is only as strong as its weakest member and your cart provides us with an example of that statement. enjoy the ride |

Re: Club car DS brand new battery drain
Make sure the Red wire from the charger receptacle is connected to the same battery post as the cable that goes to the Solenoid.
