Default Anyone in FL register their Golf Cart

Has anyone in Florida went through the inspection and registration process for their golf cart?

Looking to find out what they learned through the process. I've been reading the documentation from the FDHSMV and I think I know everything that I need for the cart but wanted to know more about their experience on the inspection process.

TIA

Most important thing is save your receipts and any street legal equipment that your cart comes with make sure it is recorded on the bill of sale!! Amazon receipts are usually not enough in some DMV locations.

Anyone know how they test the speed of the cart during the inspection?

I have never heard of them testing the speed. They usually never even take the cart off the trailer.

Mafia, did you do the inspection in South Florida by any chance? If so, can you share the number that you called? I'm at the stage where i'm trying to schedule an appointment. Thanks!
