club car regen controller test
hello, i recently purchased a club car golf cart with electrical issues. The owner said the controller was fried. i took it all apart, and it looks new inside minus the melted outer cover next to an outlet terminal going to the motor. I have no power to the solenoid with the main computer unhooked. The micro switch is good inside the pedal potentiometer with voltage to it and out of it. I hooked my test light to the battery + and it lights up bright at all four wires going to motor all the time even with key off?? Any ideas?? I installed 4 new 12v deep cycle batteries also....

Looks like you have a regen 2 cart with some sort of aftermarket controller. When you say 'main computer' are you talking about the controller? Does the solenoid click when you step on the go pedal? |
