Default Mount QuiQ Charger inside Cart??

Is there any reason I couldn't mount my delta QuiQ charger inside my 6 seater? I guess my main concern is having the male charge port be forever connected into the cart receptacle.

Cart is a 2011 Cushman 48 volt 6 seater. Pack is under the middle seats. Controller and solenoid under the front seat (where the charger will go).

1. I will have to remove the plug receptacle from the mount on seat.

2. Connect the QuiQ male charge plug into the female cart receptacle at all times.

3. Mount the charger inside the cart next to controller where it (might) get wet.

What do you guys think??

Thanks in advance.

At least powered, having the charger connected disables mine. Would have to work around that issue. They do make charger fittings for boats you could plug an extension cord into.

If my charger is plugged into the cart, my cart will not operate.

Better put a hinge or something on that seat. Those chargers go into thermal cutback when they're cooped up with no ventilation.
