G14 Upgrade Problem
Upgraded my G14 from 36 to 48 volt, installed HD main solenoid, SW202 reversing solenoid, 2ga. cables and Alltrax SR48500 controller. Everything works good, but the problem I'm having is when the forward or reverse solenoid is activated the appropriate solenoid gets very hot and starts smoking (within minutes), this happens even with no throttle activation. I went over the wiring and diode installation several times and my only conclusion is bad solenoids. Has anybody else had this similar problem?
