I assume being a 2006 and in the CC forum that it is 48v.

Actually ........ I don't think he has told us if this is a 36 or a 48 volt cart?
Either way 24v if that is a correct reading, is the reason she is bucking and not running.
We need more info to help on this one.

cart is a 48 volt
when i check w the dvm i have 50.1 reading (i had new batteries installed less than a yr ago)
have a sperry dm-210a meter and the setting on the righr (v) at the blk 200 mark, if i ck the neg from one end to the positive to the last batterie i get the reading above.

Okay so it appears you have enough voltage to run the cart at a stand still.

Can you tape the meter leads to the pack and run the cart? You can make a jumper lead with a pr. of alligator clips and wire if needed.... I would like to know what the voltage drops to when you try to drive....

If he doesn't even get a click when the peddle is pressed it probably isn't drawing anything off the pack.

nothing happens when i try to move...this is back to the origional post...after all the info i've given...hopefully someone has a solution

It is still possible something is pulling the pack down. That is why Scottyb asked you to check voltage under a load. If you follow his advise and the others on here they will find a resolution for your problem.

It is a troubleshooting process and when the post starts out with omissions as simple as make, model and year it slows the process.
