Re: club car won't move
Actually ........ I don't think he has told us if this is a 36 or a 48 volt cart?
Either way 24v if that is a correct reading, is the reason she is bucking and not running. We need more info to help on this one. cart is a 48 volt when i check w the dvm i have 50.1 reading (i had new batteries installed less than a yr ago) have a sperry dm-210a meter and the setting on the righr (v) at the blk 200 mark, if i ck the neg from one end to the positive to the last batterie i get the reading above. |

Re: club car won't move
Okay so it appears you have enough voltage to run the cart at a stand still.
Can you tape the meter leads to the pack and run the cart? You can make a jumper lead with a pr. of alligator clips and wire if needed.... I would like to know what the voltage drops to when you try to drive.... |

Re: club car won't move
If he doesn't even get a click when the peddle is pressed it probably isn't drawing anything off the pack.

Re: club car won't move
It is still possible something is pulling the pack down. That is why Scottyb asked you to check voltage under a load. If you follow his advise and the others on here they will find a resolution for your problem.
It is a troubleshooting process and when the post starts out with omissions as simple as make, model and year it slows the process. |
