New Battery Tray install
Im trying my best to install a new tray without taking the body off. I know if I talk the body off then I will have to paint it & then it will never end.
Is there a trick to taking out the 2 star bolts at the floor section that sit rite under the body? |

Re: New Battery Tray install
You may be able to flex the body forward enough to remove the Torx bolts. Never tried it, though.

Re: New Battery Tray install
Crown,
I saw a plastic battery tray on a site recently. Are they worth the install? will they last longer? M |

Re: New Battery Tray install
I installed the aluminum tray when I did mine. The price of it and the steel are very similar so it's just a personal choice. I have never seen the plastic unit but I would question it because of the flexibility the plastic will have. That flex could be a weak spot.
