Default Still wont go after installing new PDS

I have and 02 EZGO model D102 S/N 1475055 and I was told that the controller had gone out. The controller is a Curtis 73326G02. The symptoms were batteries are new, lights worked, radio worked, when I put it forward or reverse it would move a couple feet and stop. I upgraded to a 500 amp unit and it still does not work (at all now). the controller is wired correctly and I am once again stuck walking the street while my neighbors ride around.....any ideas on what this could be?

Welcome to BGW!

You've got a 2002 TXT PDS.

What make/model 500A controller did you install?

Does the green LED on the controller illuminate when the Key is ON and a direction is selected.
If so, how many times does it flash before it comes on steady?

Does the solenoid click when pedal is pushed?

----------
I have some honey-do stuff to do, but I'll be back later.

I suspect there was a preexisting condition that still exists.

I'll even predict that there is a solenoid that isn't clicking......

That means it's programmed for a CLUB CAR!! You need it to be programmed for an ITS throttle input. Should blink 4 times at startup.....

I had a similar problem with my PDS, and Scotty mentioned it could be the F/R switch going bad. And that's just what it was.

Check the Field Map also.

If it was sent to you programmed for a Club Car throttle, it probably has a Club Car Field Map also. (#6 = IQ and #8 = PD Plus)

You want Field Map #4 for a PDS
