thanks! yeah, got the body all back together, and while walking through the local scrap yard looking for steel for a project my dad is working on saw a bin heaped with polished aluminum diamond plate... at a $1.00 a pound i walked out with enough to last me for 3 project carts! I will stop in from time to time from now on to see when they get more in. Hoping to get some of it bent, drilled and mounted tonight, picked up a big bag of stainless bolts so i have no excuses now.

Cart gets loaded up on Friday to take the 3.5 hour drive to my parents place for the weekend to utilize the shop, welder, plasma cutter and stock of steel. I will also be pulling the bucket seats out of one of the many wrecked vehicles on the property. As it stands right now, I'm thinking the front buckets from an early 2000's cavalier.

Looks great! Are you putting Jeep taillights on it? I considered them...but seem big.

So it's been a long time since i posted an update. Here is the cart after the lift and bucket seats went on.

AAANNNNDDD.... here's how it looked after it flipped out of the back of my truck doing 110km/h down the highway...

Just for future reference, strapping the back down and forward wont hold it in if you don't have a windshield on and the wind catches the roof.

Going to try and pick up a new rear tub body for it in the next couple weeks and try to resurrect the project.
