Re: 07 TXT will not move and no reverse buzzer
The answer is maybe. I would at least take it off and inspect it. Make sure to put anti seize on the output shaft when you put it back together.

Re: 07 TXT will not move and no reverse buzzer
Can I jack the back end up and run cable direct from the battery packs neg and pos to the motor to see if it runs?

Re: 07 TXT will not move and no reverse buzzer
Do I need to have a battery switch as shown in the diagram?
can I just touch the cables together manually? if not can I use the Tow/switch i have as a on/off switch for the neg- cable as shown in diagram? If i can which post on switch would I use? I jacked up the rear drivers side and turned the wheel.. at 1st it was a little stuck (maybe brakes) then i got it to spin and flet the motor as I spun it and it felt like something was moving inside... is that telling me something? thank you once again for your time! |

Re: 07 TXT will not move and no reverse buzzer
Don't use any cart parts in the circuit.
You don't "need" a switch, but I would run a cable from both motor terminals, so any arcing will not damage motor terminals. Also, connect a bolt to each cable end, and touch bolts together, to prevent arcing damage to cable ends. |
