G14 Front Shocks
My lifted G14 does not rebound in the front like it should, I am sure that the shocks are getting tired. Looks kind of funny from the front the tires bow out at the bottom a little bit. Any ideas on a replacement shock without having to spend $100 each for the front end shocks?

Re: G14 Front Shocks
Not sure where stuff4mason is getting his shocks, but I've looked and like you said are at least $80 a piece. I thought maybe he found the shocks and swapped his old springs but I cant find anyone who sells just the shocks either. Sorry I cant help.

Re: G14 Front Shocks
No, not new. Sorry, thought you were looking for a deal!! You said its lifted. As long as the shock length matches, atv shocks will work on the fronts.

Re: G14 Front Shocks
Until you find some, switch them side for side. Or put split shaft collars on them.

Re: G14 Front Shocks
Mike Mac, that would probably be the cheapest alternative to add some spring pressure again, you know where I can find them?

Industrial bearing belt and chain supply. Industrial machinery parts. Mine were 4 bucks apiece.

Re: G14 Front Shocks
Need to measure diameter of your shock body. Mine were one and a quarter inches. Shimming shocks was not their intended purpose. Doubt the place I went to has a web site. Its called; "Bearing, belt and Chain". In Phoenix. Don't know where you live, but Plowman shims shocks for around $50. a pair!! Also need to make sure you won't have a "coil bind", issue after shimming.
