Re: G14 Front Shocks
Spring is here, and golf is a high dollar sport and they will pay. I just want to carry my cooler to the boat!

Re: G14 Front Shocks
Just West of Albany.......Kill me! Thanks again for the information on those collars. I am hoping that gives me just a little more spring pressure, kinda looked funny from the front. Did you need a spring compressor or can you do it by hand? How much did you compress your spring?

Re: G14 Front Shocks
20140317_174509.jpgSo I just helped a buddy of mine lift his G16 and as you can see the front camber is whacked! Knowing that it must be the front springs, I had the bright idea to use the old rear springs that we just replaced with hd ones I always get on ebay. Wellcheck out pic 2. Wow was I surprised it worked!

Re: G14 Front Shocks
HMMM interesting.....Thanks for the pics, that is what mine does. I am waiting for those split collars to come in, I figure if i can take an inch or so out of the front spring with them it might bring the rate back up where I need it. Or buy some new rear shocks and switch the front to the back. Does he get a squeak noise when he first starte out, I do and the only thing I can figure out is where the motor mount part of the frame where it meets the front half is got a bushing or something wearing out. Great info thanks!

Having the toe-in adjusted at a sixteenth to an eighth inch is very important in this situation!!
