That line with the check valve (on the "passenger side") of the engine is important, they are not expensive to fix properly. I have seen many worn out carts because of that line and valve not working right. Poor top end oiling and fuel pump not working good. Do not delete that stuff with a vacuum line only. Usually the oiling problem is noticed way too late, when the fuel pump stops working properly. The fuel pumps are rock-solid, when people come to me asking for a fuel pump, i talk to them about the other lines connected to the motor. I know you are not here for fuel pump issues, but i am trying to help you with a potential issue in the future, or root of your current problem.

Guys,

This is great information. I think the cart was a good buy for $75....yep $75. So we are willing to throw some money at it to get it running. I have downloaded the owners manual. Is there any place to get a repair manual or something similar that might have views of the things your guys are referring to? I will try to snap some top end pics and see if I can point out which lines you guys are referring to. Again I appreciate all the useful knowledge/information! Thanks

Picture of my motor. Oil line going up the back of the motor, and the check valve on the passenger side.

Good call I will keep that in mind....a little bit of a haul for me but it might be worth it if this "fix" goes south on me. Or it might be worth looking into shipping price. Thanks

Around Hershey, PA. So probably close enough for a decent shipping price.

Arent you missing a "tee" and a short line that goes back to the block inbetween the air shrouds, right below the check valve?
