actually I was wondering why he doesn't have a SD Solenoid instead of the "LITTLE" one.....

that is a HD solenoid. I have all the wires tight now, i just wanted to make sure everything was right before i tightened everything down, I have a precharge resister. where does it go again, And the diode that is on it is off the old 36V solenoid, I have 2 48v diode's - one that is a 1 amp and one that is a 3 amp. which whould i use

The pre-charge resistor goes between the solenoid's two large terminals.
Use the 3A diode.

So where do i hook the orange wire. If im reading the wiring diagram right it goes inline with the wire going to the switch along with the reverse buzzer

The orange wire reduces the controller output by 50% whenever it is connected to the battery pack (+). either end of the solenoid (+) activation wire will do. connect at the switch or the contactor or splice in between

sorry, its NOT....I said a SD (SUPER DUTY) not a HD.....I too have a SPM and on Scotty's recommendation I used a SD Solenoid. Note the picture....THIS is a SD Solenoid.
