DPI Mode question
Got me a DPI 48v 17amp charger and need to know what mode to charge my Powertron P8000 Batteries on.

I found the info you were asking me about - here a list of the constant voltage during absorption phase for the different modes 1-4. Contact your battery supplier to see what the recommendation is for your battery.
With the DPI, the constant voltage in the absorption phase is: Trojan = 2.35VPC (Mode 2) - 56.4V for a 48V pack Exide = 2.40VPG (Mode 3) - 57.6V for a 48V pack Full River = 2.45VPC (Mode 4) - 58.8V for a 48V pack US Battery = 2.50VPC (Mode 1) - 60.0V for a 48V pack |

So, based on the chart here: http://www.jeffreyalleninc.com/userf...0Batteries.pdf Mode 4 for Crowns? DPI floats them at 52.3-52.6. (mode 2) Voltage varies either by tolerances in the charger or DMM.
