help on dissembling motor
So ive take one end cap out and removed the brushes and coils at each connector. However, im at a loss on how to remove the aperture on this 10 spline motor.
Logic to me would lead me to believe there is another bolt or something holding it to the casing. However, there were three tiny screws in the middle of the bottom casing on the outside which were removed. I mean, if one were to replace the brush ring, then the amerature would have to be able to disconnect. Thoughts or opinions? |

Re: help on dissembling motor
The armature will need to be pressed out of the end cap bearing. I just had to do the same thing to change the brushes on a friends cart. The ezgo manual says you can heat it with a heat gun and pound it out, but I suggest you press it out if you know someone with a press or take it to a mechanic and have him do it. I'm sure they wouldn't charge much to press it out for you.. Hope this helps...
