Green wire would go to the positive on the converter. I'm guessing they have all the grounds connected together to the one running to the batttery. It should be hooked to the negative on the converter.
Make sure you have the means to switch the converter off. If you don't wire a switch inline, the converter will be powered 24/7 which will not only drain your batteries, but it will likely fry the converter as well. |
