Default Battery Care

I just bought a cart reconditioned by EZ GO. The date code is C2105. The dealer stated that the batteries were reconditioned. I never heard of that. The batteries are Trojan T105. What is the best way to maintain batteries during a 2 -3 month absence and is there a method to charge up the batteries fully. It came w/ a Textron Powerwise charger made in 2004. Does the Powerwise Charger automatically turn on each time it is unplugged & plugged back in even though it had shut off automatically?

Reconditioned batteries from a dealer? You would want to ask HIM what it means. I don't believe in them myself, but I'm old.
As far as your 2-3 month layover, make sure the plates are covered with distilled water, clean the cases of dirt and acid, charge the cart fully till the charger quits, unplug the charger from the cart, and have someone charge them every 30 days.
BTW, Trojan batteries will have a date code stamped in the Negative terminal. The letter stands for a the month (A is January, B is February....), and the numbers are the year.

Friday a fellow came in to work for technical assistance for his used purchase. In talking with him I found out he has a Bombardier electric car. I have seen them around, however I thought it was a golf cart with a custom body. Doing research led me to this forum.

You found the right place for golf cart discussion, all types. What I want to know is how did you find a 10 year old thread to wake up for your first post?
