Default RXV controller ID and troubleshooting

Here's the story. My uncle picked a non running 2010 RXV. We replaced some battery cables and used a set of old batteries and it was running great. We didn't have a charger at that time so we just charged each battery individually. We bought and installed a lift kit and tires and new batteries and found a 48v ClubCar charger. Without realizing how computer based this cart is we swapped ends on the charger to fit the RXV and plugged it up thinking 48volts is 48volts regardless of how it gets there. Now we're dead in the water.

I'm thinking we fried the controller with the ClubCar charger but we're looking for a diagnostic tool to troubleshoot before we replace the controller. I believe it should have the Curtis controller and was hoping someone could confirm that for me so we get the correct tool. Thanks in advanced

And you already have the upgraded solenoid, which is nice.

I suggest cleaning the wires that pass by the far-right battery, then tieing them up and away from the batteries with a ziptie, once corrosion gets set in, you can't get rid of it.

First check the fuses under the plastic controller cover.

You likely damaged the charge port (which is "computerized" too). Check for 48v on the blue wire at charge port when no charger connected. . Don't try again to use the clubcar charger, it will only work on a clubcar. There are many threads explaining why it won't work, and the fact they won't work on anything else is why they're so cheap/easy to find.

Yes I guess we did. I forgot to mention that but we had no voltage or continuity when so we replaced that harness. Learning a lot on this cart as it's a lot more technical than our older ones.

It's a computer on wheels, my favorite are the Curtis ones.

Thanks guys, got it figured out, it was a simple wiring issue.

Now that it's running what charger would you recommend for this cart?
