Not sure about the paperclip but I will be sending more pics tomorrow with a better camara. Thanks for all your help. My daughter sent me this used cart she found on the internet and I don't want to tell her it's junk. I contacted the seller and he stated no guarantee. That was one day after he delivered it..thanks again.

I have the same controller on my cart and it is fine. It sounds like yurtle has you on the right road. I wouldn't discount the cart as junk just yet. They're pretty solid.

No fear of that. As of now, the only thing wrong is it doesn't do 1/2 speed reverse due to wiring and/or MS problems. Controller does 1/2 speed. Beeper is an unknown. Does it beep?

I can't make heads or tails out of those pics. I hoped for a pic or two of each of the MSs.

The MS that's on the side appears to have the pack positive jumper, which looks red. It also appears to have an orange coming from it. The orange should only have pack positive when it's closed, and should only be closed when the FNR is in reverse. If you can verify it has pack positive even when it's not in reverse then you need to replace that microswitch.

There is a cam that rotates and has several notches that the MS levers fall into. Is it possible the spray paint or undercoating or whatever that stuff is, got into the MSs and/or cam?

Can you confirm the MS on top has a green wire on one terminal and a green and red wire on the other? I asked for those on a previous pic. Maybe you didn't know, you click on a thumbnail and you see a viewable size of the attached pic.

The black spade connector goes to the reverse beeper.

Green comes from plus on battery to top of spade. Red wire connected to same spade. Blue wire connected to the other spade. On the lower micro-switch, bottom spade is connected to the orange wire. Top spade of the lower micro-switch is not connected to anything. However, there is a black wire coming from the harness that has a connector that is not connected, just hanging. I am talking to you on a tablet and it does not have a paperclip.

There green wires from both harnesses are spliced together.
