How did you figure out disconnecting pin 4 on the controller? Previous Owner?

Just read your post. I opened the controller cover and saw the lug on number 4 was disconnected and just hanging. When I connected it cart runs at half speed. Both forward and reverse. The seller will not respond to emails or phone calls.

I'm guessing the MS4 failed closed, so it ran 1/2 speeds and the beeper never turned off. So the easy fix for him was unplug pin 4 and the black spade connector from the beeper.
