Re: 2001 txt suddenly slow
Good deal. I'm still learning my SR 48500, but heard about clearing auto-cal on several posts now. I would have thought once the Alltrax "learned" a buggy, it would stop auto-cal. Maybe between the washing and unplugging/replugging the Molex connector then driving, it "locked in" a bad calibration?
I'd recommend eliminating the Molex plug, as it's in a bad place for corrosion, and affects two wires from the throttle microswitch and two wires from the throttle ITS, any one of which could leave you stranded. In a pinch, just unplug/replug 'til you get around to it. Solder or butt splice and use a quality heat-shrink that is weather resistant, often sold in boat stores, and maybe in car parts places. |

Re: 2001 txt suddenly slow
Note to dealers who may have pull with Alltrax. Their R&D team needs to put a hardware clear auto-cal as a button you can push with a toothpick, not require a laptop?
I'm sure they'll jump right on it. A new firmware may also be a good thing. Why do you need auto-cal anyway? My AXE was quite happy without it, and I confirmed that it hit 100% after adjusting the plunger. |
