Default Service items - 2009 RXV

Have got a 2009 RXV, bought it from a local contact who gets lower end part exchange carts from a local dealer and sells them on - safe to assume he hasn't done anything and the cart has no history.

Question is what should I look at servicing, assuming nothing has been done to the cart in a few years?

I am pretty sure it will need new batteries soon, it managed 3.5 miles to the clubhouse, then 9 fairly hilly holes of golf and back to mine the same way, so overall about 10 miles but was struggling (7mph) up the last hill to mine.

I have upgraded cables I am about to fit but what else should i plan on doing?

Thanks!

Change the differential oil. I use 25 ounces of Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic 75W140 Gear Oil. Along with 2 ounces of K & W Chemical Trans-X® Posi Trac® Limited Slip Gear Oil Additive.

Use Permatex® Gear Oil RTV Gasket Maker on the pan.

Here is a link on doing it.

Plan on a motor brake soon, just for peace of mind (who knows how old yours is). Check axle nuts on end of hubs (125 foot pounds). Baking soda for cleaning batteries. Distilled water for battery top off (fill to 1/4" above plates). Battery coat for terminal protection. Check battery nuts for tightness (105 INCH pounds).

Bought used 2012 fleet cart last year.
Aside from following battery charge and under load voltages to determine there .condition
I spent most time cleaning up electrical connections and battery terminals for corrosion issues.
Change rear oil.
Pulled wheels and greased wheel bearings along with checking brakes and brake cable adjustments.
Brake pedal and cable adjustments must be followed in order for proper braking.
Also checked front end alighnment.
Download the manual for your cart off stickies for info.
Doing these checks also helps in getting familar with your cart.
#1 have problems ask the people on this forum, great wealth of info here👍
