Everything I read says to remove the snap ring from the speed sensor. I don’t see a snap ring. Does it just pull out of the motor?

Looks like your snap ring is missing. Also, you can see marks where it looks like someone pried it out with a screwdriver or something. maybe it isn't seated property because of that and that's the problem. I think it should come it now that the snap ring is missing. Be sure the magnet is good under there.

Well.... after I messed with the sensor, it worked just fine. So I’m guessing the sensor just backed out a little too far. I’ll have to get a clip to hold in. Thanks for all the help. Learned a lot and was able to fix it for free.
